# /proc filesystem

Linux'ta her şey bir dosyadır, işlemler bile. İşlem bilgileri, `/proc` olarak bilinen özel bir dosya sisteminde saklanır.

```
$ ls /proc
```

Bu komutu çalıştırdığınızda, içinde birçok değer görmelisiniz. /proc dizini her bir PID için alt dizinlerden oluşur. `ps` komutunun çıktısında gördüğünüz bir PID'yi /proc dizininde bulabilirsiniz.

İsterseniz /proc dizinindeki alt dizinlerden birine girerek içindeki dosyalara bakabilirsiniz:

$ cat /proc/12345/status
```

Bu komut ile işlem durumu bilgilerinin yanı sıra daha ayrıntılı bilgiler de görebilirsiniz. `/proc` dizini, çekirdeğin sistemi nasıl gördüğünü yansıtır, bu nedenle burada `ps` komutunda görebileceğinizden çok daha fazla bilgi bulunur.
